Virtually all forms of technology for Internet connections are available on the market. Depending on your location (technical availability) and needs it is possible to obtain the necessary connection type and desired speed.  

Dial-up connection

  • Subscription fee: None
  • Internet access: 0,27 - 0,45 RUB per minute

ADSL (corporate users)

  • Subscription fee: 1 - 3 000 RUB
  • Monthly payment: unlimited access by ISP Aliance-Pro by North-West Telecom:
    -    256 kbit/s –      990 RUB
    -    512 kbit/s –   1 400 RUB
    - 1 024 kbit/s –   2 100 RUB
    - 2 048 kbit/s –   3 200 RUB
  • Monthly payment: access on the speed 10-100 Mb/s with limited traffic packages ISP Aliance-Pro by North-West Telecom:
    - 0,5 GB - 500 RUB
      additional traffic – 1,50 RUB/MB
    - 1 GB – 1 000 RUB
      additional traffic – 1,25 RUB/MB
    - 2 GB – 1 500 RUB
      additional traffic – 1,25 RUB/MB
    - 5 GB – 2 500 RUB
      additional traffic – 1,00 RUB/MB

Dedicated channels

  • Subscription fee: 0 – 1000 RUB
  • Monthly payment: unlimited traffic with limited speed by ISP Opticom:
    -    1 mbit/s - 300 RUB
    -    7 mbit/s - 450 RUB
    -  11 mbit/s - 650 RUB
    -  20 mbit/s - 1000 RUB
    -  45 mbit/s - 2000 RUB

Wi-Max

Wi-Max Internet access is available in St. Petersburg by Yota. The following access plans to the unlimited mobile internet at speeds up to 10 Mbps are available:

  • Subscription fee: Free
  • Monthly payment:  
    - Private users: from 900 RUB
    - Corporate users: from 2 700 RUB

Wi-Fi zones

Wi-Fi hot spots with free or paid access can be found in airport, major hotels, shopping centres, restaurants and office centers.

Other types of Internet connections

Depending on your needs and technical availability, other types of Internet connection such as xDSL, Wi-Fi, radio access and others are available.
