Here you will find information on the main business sectors in St. Petersburg - the business sectors which account for a large proportion of the Gross Regional Product, employment opportunities and which experience a fairly high growth rate in turnover. In 2009 St. Petersburg GRP comprised more than 1467 billion RUB (in current prices) making up about 103% of previous year’s index (in 2008 GRP was about 1420.8 billion RUB 40% in the total GRP of the North-Western Federal District).
